It's not too often we go camping just for the sake of it. Usually we camp as part of a
longer backpack, or to get an early start on a dayhike. Sometimes as part of another
activity, we Car Camp, which is where the tents are pitched close to our vehicles. When
this happens people tend to bring along picnic chairs, gourmet food, beer, etc. Some of
our members are quite the gourmands so these are a lot of fun.
